We have recently expanded our floor space and offer great bargains on gently used items.  Huge savings are available in large furniture items.  You've got to see it to believe it!

Do you have a large piece of furniture in EXCELLENT condition that you'd like to donate?  We are one of the few places in the area that will PICK UP furniture at your home, saving you the time, money and inconvenience of hiring a truck and crew to take it away.  Call us for details!!!

How your donation of items helps the Jonnycake Center

Many people in our communities support our work by donating their gently used furniture, clothing and housewares in good condition, which we offer for sale in our Thrift Store, which is open to the general public.  The store revenue pays the operating expenses of the Center.

The Thrift Store makes it possible for us to apply all of our cash donations directly to food purchases and client assistance.

The Thrift Store can also provide items free of charge to qualified clients who obtain vouchers from our Social Service office.

In times of crisis, such as the loss of a home and possessions due to fire, or in domestic abuse cases where a spouse with children must relocate immediately, our Thrift Store can provide families with a kitchen table and chairs, small appliances, living room furniture, blankets, cookware, dinnerware, lamps, and clothing at little or no cost.

That is why we ask that all donations be in a clean and saleable condition.  Your thoughtfulness and generosity makes our work possible, and we are most grateful for all that you do.
